* We are sad to announce that Harry Kee, 98, of Neshanic Station, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Born in 1920 in Canton, China, he immigrated to the United States in 1926. He was raised in Belmont, Massachusetts, and later settled and raised a family in Dumont, New Jersey for 40 years before moving to Branchburg, New Jersey 12 years ago. He is survived by Florence Huie Kee, his loving wife of 66 years; three loving daughters, Alice and husband Jonathan Horiuchi of Branchburg, NJ, Margaret and husband David Forte of Metuchen, NJ and Barbara and husband Kai Tai Chen of Dumont, NJ; six cherished grandchildren, Elise and Nicholas Forte, Kira and Stephen Horiuchi, and Brian and Benjamin Chen and many other family members and friends. 

Visitation with the family will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9 at Bridge United Methodist Church, followed at 2:00 p.m. by a memorial service of thanksgiving for his life at the Bridgewater United Methodist Church, 651 Country Club Drive, Bridgewater, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name to the Bridgewater United Methodist Church of Bridgewater, NJ or the Calvary United Methodist Church of Dumont, NJ would be greatly appreciated.

* It is with deep regret that we share the news that WW II veteran and longtime CCCNJ member George N. Yee passed away Oct 8. Deepest condolences go out to his wife Lillian and daughter Barbara. George served as a 1st Lt. & Bombardier in the US military during WW II & a member of The Greatest Generation; read his stories below. Thank you George & all other Veterans !

* See October Newsletter.  The Chinese New Year Banquet is scheduled for March 2, 2019.

* The CCCNJ Tennis season is starting in November and ending either April or May.  It will be the first Saturday of each month except for March due to the CCCNJ Chinese New Year Dinner.  Dates: Nov 3, Dec 1, Jan 5, Feb 2, Mar 9, Apr 6, and tentatively May 11, 2019 (Mother's Day Weekend).  Chinese New Year is on Feb 5, 2019.  Looking forward to another great season.  Email cccnjtennis@gmail.com.

* Chinese Cultural Dance (Youth) starts (9/29) & Mandarin (Adult) classes begin (10/6).  A free trial Mandarin class is offered to meet our new Mandarin teacher.  Please see the School/Extra Curricular tab for more information.

* Early registration for the next Fall begins. Please see the School tab for forms. Discounts for early registration ends 7/31/18. Please submit forms with payment to Stacey Chiu and Vivian Hung.

* CCCNJ Annual Picnic at Van Saun Park (Pavilion "I", different from last year) on June 9. Graduation starts at 10 am and Picnic at Noon. Please bring your own chairs for the graduation ceremony. Picnic forms are editable (see link). Please complete form with payment and submit to Winnie Sham and Evelyn Ciszak. CCCNJ Tennis Club will reserve courts at Van Saun Park. Open to everyone, join in on the tennis fun from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Tennis players must wear sneakers and should bring a tennis racket. If you have any questions, please send to CCCNJTENNIS@gmail.com.
